Kartify Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Kartify ("Platform"), accessible at Kartify.live. Kartify allows users to log lap times, track performance, and engage with karting session data. By accessing or using Kartify, you agree to these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue the use of the platform immediately.

2. Eligibility & Account Requirements

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account in accordance with UK laws.
• Users under 16 require parental or guardian consent.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
• Users may link third-party accounts (e.g., Discord) but must comply with those services’ respective policies.

3. Services Provided

• Log and track lap times manually or via automated integrations.
• View performance data, kart statistics, and historical lap records.
• Integrate with TeamSport (via SMS Timing), Alpha Timing, and TagHeuer Timing for session data.
• Receive Discord notifications for new records and kart assignments.
• Post and interact with track reviews.

4. Data Ownership & Third-Party Data

Kartify processes lap data from TeamSport (via SMS Timing) but does not claim ownership of this data. The data is retained for historical tracking purposes and may be removed upon request by TeamSport, SMS Timing, or other relevant third parties.

For TeamSport tracks only, Kartify does not store raw driver names received from TeamSport. Instead, users may voluntarily configure an alias per track in their account settings. When users provide an alias, Kartify securely stores the user-input name and its associated hash separately. Only the hashed version is processed for comparison purposes, ensuring raw names are never exposed or shared with our TeamSport microservice.

Aliases configured in the account settings may be shared with other users on the platform under the following circumstances:

• The user joins a group on Kartify.
• The user shares their profile publicly to the internet.
• The group owner shares their group profile publicly to the internet.

5. Membership & Payment Terms

• Kartify offers both free and paid memberships.
• Subscription plans, pricing, and features are subject to change.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Refunds are only issued under exceptional circumstances.

6. User Conduct & Review Guidelines

• Users agree to provide factual and truthful session/track reviews.
• Avoid explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Refrain from attempting to manipulate data, leaderboard rankings, or user ratings.
• Reviews violating these terms may be removed, and accounts may face suspension.

7. Privacy & Data Handling

Kartify handles user data in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws. Kartify does not process personally identifiable race data unless a user explicitly configures their alias settings.

• Personal data (e.g., session history, lap times) may be processed and stored.
• Kartify may share necessary data with third-party services (e.g., YouTube, Discord) for platform functionality.
• Users may request data deletion in compliance with GDPR.
• Kartify does not share personal information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
